William Ronald “Bill” Drummond, 86 of Punxsutawney, peacefully passed away on Sunday October 31, 2021 at his home with his family by side.
He was born December 20, 1934 in Punxsutawney.
Bill was a member of Steffy United Methodist Chapel.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nora. Two daughters, Robyn Smith and husband Ricky, , Rhonda Hartley and husband Scott, Grandkids, Nicole McDivitt and husband Ben, Heath Smith and wife Danielle, Renee Russell and husband David, seven great grandchildren, Tanner, Isabelle, Jaugar McDivitt, Chase, Jayden-Lane, Amelia Smith, Quentin Russell and his brother Budd Drummond and wife Patty.
Besides the love of his family, he found enjoyment in model railroading. He was that guy who could make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear, as he did so often. His family cherished his constant support and was proud of his 20-year service to our country serving in the United States Navy.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc. 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767, with a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home, with his daughter Robyn Smith, officiating.
